So today I heard this story about a kid who recently killed himself because of his jailbroken iPhone 6, this a direct quote of the story I was told.
had iPhone 6 with broken screen and vibration motor
took phone apart to try to replace vibration motor
accidentally ripped one of the ribbon cables to the screen
screen wouldn't work when plugged back in and restarted
decided to put it all together without the battery or screen plugged in
6-9 months go by
decides to try to jailbreak and install Veency to use the phone (iOS 8.1.3)
after a long time trying to get TaiG to work, he realizes that the phone is already jailbroken
goes to install SSH, only to realize it also was already installed
spends a while installing Veency and dependencies
reboots and the screen turns on!
kid got super pissed about how he could've been using the phone for months
gets super depressed over self stupidity
decides that his life is pointless and walks in front of a car, screaming that jailbreaking is gay (this part I don't really believe)
So yeah.. uh.. happy jailbreaking?
