So, I'm not a developer; I will try to explain this as much as possible but there is 100% a chance I am wrong. Instead of flaming me, correct me and I will update the post.
What does this mean for jailbreakers? Back during 9.1, all it needed to be jailbroken was a kpp defeat; essentially, Pangu took their 9.0-9.0.2 jailbreak and added a new kpp defeat utilizing their old bugs and viola. As always, apple patched this with 9.2 until now, hopefully. This is not a bug used to escalate to root but to bypass KPP. The significance of this is as follows: A developer with enough knowledge and bugs laying around may be nice enough to the jailbreak community to put together a complete jailbreak.
